Since January I've been telling myself that I would 'take a break next month' and just focus on entering normal challenges and not melt my brain attempting to do alllll the things in a month. But then 20muses kept having these amazing themes and I'm here like, KILL ME. But yeah. Unless 20muses has this insanely awesome, melt your mind challenge again this is my last set until June..or July, idk. I want to get back to doing other challenges and making icons of my own for fun, for once in..months. Famous last words, right? :P

About 7 icons into this I remade almost everything except for 1, 16 and 18 because I decided to use this color palette I made for the entire set. So that's why there's so many alts this time around.

In the end, I struggled with this set. I think since I restricted myself to mostly neutrals in keeping with the theme of simplicity, a lot of these just fell flat and I've been tired in general so I'm not at my best, unfortunately. I probably should have just skipped this round but oh well~ here it is!

I was going skip this round as I was really drained from the last round but it was too fun to miss!! I LOVE COLORS !! ;A;

Originally, I first chose 'Hard Mode' with the color blue but despite working well with that color, I still I died in the first 3 so I changed to 'Normal Mode'. Also, I included the base color(s) that I used for each icon above it for funsies. :P

Also, #17 turned out more shippy than I had planned..clearly that's where my subconscious wants me to go. LOL

I feel like this set is kind of all over the place in terms of quality..idk why but some (maybe even half) of these are not up to my usual standards they're lacking...something. I don't know how to fix them so I'm leaving them as is.
Regardless of that, this round was really awesome and I had a lot of fun making these!

This set didn't turn out at all like I had imagined, I mean it's an ok set but I'm disappointed by many of the icons and executing the ideas I had for each artist group just fell flat.

For the most part I used the general 'feeling' I got from the artists work combined as inspiration (well the ones I liked from the inspiration post anyways).
