This set didn't turn out at all like I had imagined, I mean it's an ok set but I'm disappointed by many of the icons and executing the ideas I had for each artist group just fell flat.
For the most part I used the general 'feeling' I got from the artists work combined as inspiration (well the ones I liked from the inspiration post anyways).

Inspired by Louise LeBourgeois
These I made simple; minimalism (well..there was an attempt), tiny text, lots of negative space and blues.
I don't like how these ended up being rather repetitive but it's too late to try and fix them now. :\

These didn't turn out as I had imagined, especially the far crop ones. I think they would have worked better as larger graphics as the details get lost.
Particular pieces that inspired me the most were these; one, two*, three, four, five.
*directly inspired 6 and 8.

Inspired by Richard Whadcock
Faded(ish) colorsand (at least partial) obscurity...yeah that didn't work out so well.

Inspired by Ian Francis & Fran Williams
I tried to blend these two styles together in a cohesive set but I gave up because nothing was working. So instead, the first two are Ian Francis inspired, 3-5 are inspired by Fran Williams.
