So if anyone's been around here the past week or so you'll see next to nothing because photobucket is being stupid and has blocked 3rd party linking. I'm trying to figure out what to do at this point, as I have over 100 posts to fill in after rehosting my images but the biggest issue is attempting to know what went where and all that. ugh

I'm thinking of making masterposts somehow going by year maybe? Like, having the pages on tumblr so I don't run out of space in an lj post. idk, if anyone has ideas please let me know!

For any outstanding requests from my last request post and my ATM thread; I'm so sorry they're late! I am slowly, but surely going to finish them. And then I'm not doing anymore for awhile because I suck & life is busy.
Again, I'm terribly sorry! I'm working on them now and I'll get them ALL posted as soon as I can!

New icons; Between the sudden influx of battles, and awesome challenges + real life I've had 0 time to make anything for the fun of it so I'm rather drained and I don't know when I'll post something new. I'm going to put up challenge & battle icons as an archive for myself soon-ish...probably this week before it gets too huge. And I'll try to put up a tiny post of new icons after I get the requests done.

I've also reached 300+ watchers! Thank you so much for following! :D

I think this is definitely the year of icon challenges. I've been doing them left and right and did some battles as well! Oh and I plan on hosting a battle myself next year that is hopefully going to be pretty huge (because who doesn't like a challenge? :D). I've got some ideas I'm thinking about that I hope I can pull off. We'll see how it goes!

I feel that I've really improved this year in many ways. What I like best is my coloring, I love working with bright colors as you will see in the post I used them a lot. So I'm really pleased with that. I think I've done fairly well with complex icons. Not as well as I would like but it's much better than before.

Earlier this year I discovered the thing that I think is what people hated most this year in the graphics world (on tumblr and lj); TOPAZ. :D Annnd like a kid with a new toy I used it on EVERYTHING. Some are pretty bad but it's a very useful tool and now that I've learned how to use it well, it's very valuable and I love it. So yeah there are some cringe worthy icons from earlier this year but I chalk it up to the learning experience! :P

Hello all!

I was going to do a request post for this month but it turns out that I will be moving. So I'm going on semi hiatus for now. I may or may not be able to make and post icons besides a few challenges here and there. I've got lots of packing to do.. x___x

I should be back sometime in June with new icons and a massive request post as I see I have many more members and watchers. Keep an eye out for that! :D

A bit late with this but, Happy New Year everyone! :D

I was going to post this earlier but it's the holidays and I didn't feel like it~ ha Anyways these are the icons I made this past year plus my personal favorites at the very end. (each month is a link to the original post) I feel like I learned a lot this year, especially during the past two months, I've really tried hard at changing up my style, trying new things and branching out. Joining elite icon communities really helped out as the competition there is pretty steep, which makes it all the more fun!

Watching

iconpraise has also helped tremendously in seeing amazing work and gaining many different ideas. I think the icon community as a whole has grown this year, or is it just me? I'm not sure but you all are a fantastic bunch and I'm glad to be a part of it! :]

First off, I want to say THANK YOU to all of you out there that are watching and are members! I really appreciate you guys following my work! :D

Annd as you can see from the banner above, this is a special holiday REQUEST POST! So go all out and give me up to eight hq pictures, (one request per person) of something you want iconned. Requests should be filled by the end of January, depending on how many requests I get. I will let you know if any will be late. Also, specify if you want your to be shareable or not!

Also, I am looking for suggestions on what else I could make, different shows/movies, wallpapers, other large graphics, themes (like sets of color palettes or redoing icons of another makers, stuff like that) anything really I'm open to. I may or may not do them but I want to branch out some and expand my abilities as it were. Any ideas are welcomed!

EDIT: I almost forgot! I'd like to do an icon battle, so if anyone is up for one let me know & we'll work something out. =3
