Top 10 bestof_icons 2013!

I was going to just post the one icon that came out on top but I was inspired by john_scorpy to post my top 10. :D

So, in order, my top 10 according to bestof_icons are as follows...





Thank you all who voted! It's not as I expected (of course these things can't always be predicted) but there are a few that I'm glad were in my top 10 as they're some of my favorites which are 10, 8, 6, 4 & 3.
5 is not very good I cannot figure why that one got voted so high, my idea was good but executed poorly imo. I think I'll remake it one of these days..it bugs me. :P With 2 well, that one could have been done better but I learned a few thing since then so I could remake it better now if I didn't want to fight with coloring that hair again. lol

I think I did really well this year with color and grunge/texture work. I also think I've found my niche and I'm pretty pleased with it. :D I plan on making more for myself this year and hopefully expand my texture usage further and focus on more complex icons.

The ones you listed as your favorites were my favorites too, pretty much :> Especially 4 (the fading icon) is just incredible and would have been a great winner to showcase your skills. I totally agree that you found an awesome style last year, and I'm definitely looking forward to where you'll take it this year!
