RULES
-You will make 8 icons total with the provided screencaps above.
-You will use the 8 themes, one on each icon.
-Outside images are allowed as long as the provided screencaps are visible.
-There will be an artists choice section as well, where you can do what you want with whatever screencaps you choose and make up to 4 extra icons.
-Animation is not allowed on the 8 main icons. It is allowed in the artists choice icons only.
-Icons must fit LJ standards; 40kb or less and exactly 100x100px.
-Entries will be screened, so please don't share your icons until after the reveal post!
-The battle will run from Feb. 21st until March 14th. COUNTDOWN

It's not stupid!

It means "an effect of contrasted light and shadow created by light falling unevenly or from a particular direction on something". Google images gives a good basic idea of how it would look on an icon. :D

Hey. I'm really sorry because I really wanted to do this, but I've had a very hectic few weeks and I've only got about three of my icons done so I'm going to have to drop out.
